Private outdoor first aid course options
Enquire about outdoor first aid training for your organisation now. We can cater for multiple training needs in one course and choose assessment for the relevant certificate, unit standard(s) or both. All certificates are valid for two years and normally need to be refreshed no more than 3 months after expiry.
Basic First Aid/CPR - Full or Refresher
Half day in class
People who complete this course successfully receive a Basic First Aid Certificate and can be assessed for unit standard 6402.
First Aid in the Outdoors - Full or Refresher
Full day in class or blended option (online learning + half day in class).
This course is for people aiming for a First Aid in the Outdoors Certificate. Students can be assessed for NZQA unit standards 6402 & 6401.
Outdoor First Aid - Full or Refresher
2 days in class + 12 hours online learning
This 2-day Outdoor First Aid course combines our 'First Aid in the Outdoors' & '424 - Outdoor Emergency Care Management' course.
Manage First Aid in an Emergency
Half day in class
People who have unit standards 6401 and 6402 and a current Workplace First Aid Certificate may join a comprehensive course to cover unit standard 6400 only.
