Triple One Care in partnership with MedAire is certified by Maritime New Zealand to offer Training Courses pursuant to rule 35.11 of Part 35 of the Maritime.
STCW Super Course - This is a 5 day course comprising of 3 courses, Elementary First Aid (EFA), Proficiency in Medical First Aid (PMFA) and Proficiency in Medical Care (PMC). Courses are to an international standard and are relevant to commercial seafarers only.

Elementary First Aid
2 day practical in person course
This two-day course provides crew members detailed information on how to provide elementary first aid in the challenging, remote maritime environment. This course meets the requirements for STCW A-V1/1.2.1.3.
This course combines our "marine focused" Comprehensive workplace course. On successful completion you will gain NZQA unit standards 6402, 6401 & 6400.
Proficiency in Medical First Aid
1 day in person practical course - Day 3 of STCW Super Course (prerequisite Elementary First Aid)
This one-day (Day 3 of Super Course) trains crew to be proficient in medical first aid in the challenging, remote maritime environment. The course is designed for the ship medics. This course meets the requirements for STCW A-V1/4. Expiry is 5 years.
Proficiency in Medical Care
2 day in person practical course - Day 4 & 5 of STCW Super Course (prerequisite Elementary First Aid and Medical First Aid)
The extra 2-day course following MFA is designed for the person in overall charge of Medical Care and supplies including prescription drugs. Participants are normally the captain or high ranking Officers. Expiry is 5 years.
Refresher for Proficiency in Medical Care
A 3-day practical is available and will reset the expiry date for another 5 years. A current PMC certificate is required.
