First Aid for Young Children

Are you caring for children up to 6 years of age? Do you have children at home? Are you a babysitter, nanny or childminder? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Triple One Care's First Aid for Young Children course is for you.

Why First Aid for Young Children?

The hazards encountered by young children differ from those the rest of us experience. When one of the hazards becomes a first aid emergency, a child cannot communicate their concerns, and their treatment may even be different because of their age, size or development.

On completion of this course, you will be able to identify and manage:

Scene
CPR
Choking
Common first aid conditions
Emergency situations

There are no pre-requisites, everything is taught during this hands-on, informative and memorable 4-hour training session. You will gain unit standard 25459 on successful completion.
